OkiNoky Privacy Policy

Information we process

OkiNoky processes the following information only when needed to provide features you choose:

Reminders and notes: titles, descriptions, dates, recurrence settings, completion status, note text, and attachments.
Google account information: your email address and authentication tokens when you connect Google synchronization or sign in to check Gift PRO eligibility.
Calendar data: reminder titles, descriptions, and dates when you enable Google Calendar synchronization.
Voice input: microphone audio is sent to the speech-recognition provider selected by your Android device. OkiNoky receives the resulting text and does not retain the audio recording.
Holiday selection: the country and year you select may be sent to the Nager.Date holiday service.

How information is used

To create, display, schedule, and synchronize reminders and notes.
To create an OkiNoky calendar in the Google account you select.
To back up and restore reminders, notes, and attachments through your private Google Drive application-data folder.
To verify whether a signed-in Google account is eligible for Gift PRO.
To convert optional voice input into reminder text and to show public holidays.

Storage and sharing

By default, reminders, notes, preferences, and attachments are stored locally on your device. If you enable Google features, relevant data is transmitted securely to Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Identity Platform, or Firebase. Speech input is handled by the recognition provider configured on your device. Holiday requests are handled by Nager.Date.

We do not sell personal data. OkiNoky contains no advertising SDK and does not use data for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Your choices and deletion

Google synchronization, Google Calendar synchronization, Gift PRO sign-in, voice input, and attachments are optional. You can disconnect Google accounts and disable synchronization in the app settings. You can delete the OkiNoky calendar from the Calendar screen.

How to request deletion

Email kitsingvitali@gmail.com with the subject OkiNoky data deletion request.
Send the request from, or include, the Google Account email used with OkiNoky and state which information you want deleted.
VKA Apps will verify the request, delete eligible app-side records, and confirm completion within 30 days.

Data deleted: Gift PRO eligibility records and other OkiNoky service records associated with the verified email, if present. Data you delete directly: reminders, notes, attachments, preferences, and other local information can be removed in OkiNoky, by clearing app storage, or by uninstalling the app. Information saved in your Google Drive or Google Calendar remains under your Google Account controls; you can disconnect synchronization and delete the OkiNoky calendar.

Retention: deletion-request correspondence may be retained for up to 90 days for security and audit purposes. Information may be retained longer only when required by law or necessary to prevent fraud or abuse.

Security and retention

OkiNoky uses Android platform protections and encrypted HTTPS connections for supported online features. Local information remains until you delete it or clear the app data. Information stored in your Google account remains subject to your Google account controls and Google’s retention practices. Gift PRO eligibility records are retained only as needed to provide and administer that feature.

Children, changes, and contact

OkiNoky is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change; the revised date will appear on this page.
